The Company

Michelle founded Fusion Events & Weddings in 2009 after gaining 8 years of experience as an international event manager and wedding planner at a globally recognised events and production company.

Our ultimate aim is to remove any stress from the planning process, and Michelle’s keen eye for detail and desire for perfection ensures that behind the scenes nothing is left to chance.

Our ethos, commitment, and passion to create meaningful occasions, combined with our creative flair means that Fusion Events & Weddings is not only industry award winning, but much more importantly, that we are a trusted go-to aide for happy couples when organising their perfect day.

Hello, I'm Michelle

With over two decades experience in bespoke event management, wedding planning and consultancy, my focus is on helping people and businesses create special and memorable experiences.

Over the years I’ve continued to be fortunate enough to work with amazing companies and couples across the country. I’ve worked for and with agencies and independent clients, managing many types of events with varied budgets, focusing on corporate events, weddings and consultancy for venues.

11 years ago, I became very aware of the wasteful, single use nature of events and weddings. Rather than leave the industry all together, I made the decision to adapt the way I run events, and minimise the environmental impact my client’s events have. I’m now work with a wide range of conscious clients, that value not only my event management abilities but also my sustainability knowledge and contacts.

In 2022 I become an Associate of the Institute for Environmental Management & Assessment after completing a Foundation Certificate in Environmental Management.

When I’m not planning events you’ll find me walking in the West Berkshire countryside with my husband and two children.

A Sustainable Focus

As a company we strive to be as sustainable as we can, we use 100% renewable energy in our office, drive hybrid cars to our meetings and have a sustainability policy which we review regularly.  We are carbon neutral and working towards being net zero by 2030. We also work with our clients to plan their events and weddings in a sustainable, environmentally conscious way, following our own strict criteria.

We also believe in ethical pricing, marketing and transparency in the way we work, so have signed the Ethical Move pledge.

Restoring our planet together

We are committed to restoring our planet and protecting biodiversity. We recognise that no one is perfect and that we have work to do to become carbon neutral. So whilst we’re working on reducing our emissions, we will be offsetting every month through tree planting and carbon offsetting projects across the world. We also offset any business based carbon annually.
